Deleting your account
You can delete your Vardify account yourself at any time, without writing to anyone. The deletion takes effect the moment you confirm it.
In the app
- Open the Vardify app and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read what will happen and confirm.
In the web panel
- Sign in at platform.vardify.com.
- Settings → Security → Delete my account.
- Read what will happen and confirm.
If you can reach neither the app nor the panel
Write “delete my account” to kvkk@vardify.com from the email address on your account. We verify it is you, delete the account within 30 days at the latest and let you know.
What is deleted
Your sign-in and open sessions, your profile, the devices bound to your account, and the link between your account and every business you worked at.
What stays
The records the business you worked at must keep by law (shifts, clock-ins, timesheets, leave) stay with the employer; they are also your own proof of what you were paid. How long they are kept is set by the law the business is under, and the employer is responsible for them. The employer can invite you again.
Deleted data stays in encrypted backups for at most 6 more months, then disappears with them.
If you own a business
If you are a business's only owner, first make someone else an owner or close the business (in the panel: Settings → Business profile → Delete the business; you can change your mind within 30 days). Otherwise nobody would be left who can reach that business.
